Decorative little birds, feathers fluffed out against the morning chill, were painted on many items and post cards during the late 1800's to early 1900's. By their coloration you could notice the more distinctive species, but the paintings were not intended to be an academic study, rather a decorative generalization. These three designs have been done on nesting book boxes but can be adapted to a variety of pieces. Color Step Worksheets included.
