Maybe all hearts would be happier if they kept the spirit of Christmas all year long. At least it is a very dear thought. And I've always remembered that Santa Claus began with St. Nicolas.
When we were travelling through the Scandinavian counties I loved to stop in and visit the St Nicolas churches in Denmark. When you opened their door there was a very large, beautiful wooden sailing ship hanging over the entry. In Holland, he arrives on a saling ship.
