Fruits, Flowers & Flying Bugs Online Class
This lovely, 8-sided piece is abundantly decorated with fruit and flowers, then accented with bugs, especially flying ones that add a touch of whimsey like we see in the old illuminated manuscript paintings. The fruit and flowers give homage to old Italian style paintings. Jo Sonja uses a very stylized technique presentation that we think you'll enjoy. It is a progression of our studies that we hope will encourage you in the development of your own personal style.
The beautifully constructed octagonal porringer is an antique reproduction made out of specially milled poplar and measures approximately 9" tall and has a width of about 8".
