Where does this one begin? I'm not sure, but certainly for me it was American Country Tin Painting and Penn Dutch Fraktur Painting combined to formalize the symbolic design presented on this box. The use of the symbolic design presented on this box. The use of the single stylized tulip represents God and the heart. His boundless love and mercy. The small flowers represent the endless succession of generation. The border is symbolic for the Life Line - representing our ups and downs.
