A delightful fairy take from The Brothers Grimm. It is about two little elves who secretly help at night a struggling shoemaker and his family. In return, the family finds out that the poor little elves have no clothes and it is almost Christmas, so they make the elves a full set of clothes and shoes and the happy little fellows leave on their travels and the shoemaker manages his business successfully.

There is a bundle option to purchase the packet and the beautiful, reproduction alder shoeshine box. The box is 12" high and is 13" wide and 9" deep. On the inside of the top lid is the shoe rest platform. There is a drawer on the front of the box that pulls open.
