This medium sized chest is an adaptation inspired by an old chest from Bavaria. The chest was a fraternity chest, a St. Nikolas fraternity chest of the Inn Sailors; circa 1772. Remembering that St. Nikolas is the patron saint of sailors, he is shown on the front panel along with the 3 golden balls, Bavaria heraldic symbols and cherubs. The top of the chest features a sailing scene on the Inn. All sides are finished off with fun stroke florals and scrolls.
