A folk art sailing ship
When our children were little, Jerry and I built large models of the U.S.S. Constitution and the Flying Cloud as a hobby project which helped us appreciate the beautiful sailing ships we enjoyed seeing.
Inspired by a tray painted by the Hindeloopen folk artist Mr. Gerard Huttinga, (1883-1963) I have long wanted to paint one too. Now I don't know if Sea Breeze will really sail nor what type of ship to call her but I do know that I had a marvelous time painting this tray and hope you will too.
