This inspirational bowl was reflects the darkness and energy of creation, the feeling of fire and ice, of nothing and and darkness to abundance and light. It was awarded a red ribbon at the 1996 exhibition and now hangs in the permanent collection at Vesterheim Museum.
The bowl measures about 20 1/2" in diameter and was originally turned by Paul Loftness. Unfortunately Paul doesn't turn pieces any longer however the design is easily adaptable to wide variety of plates available from Montzka Woodworking. Being very flat it presents the painting well.
