Full bundle includes the slant front desk box, packet with photos, patterns and instructions to complete the piece shown here. The lovely wooden desk box is constructed from Baltic Birch Ply and has a base of 11" x 6" and is approximately 15" tall.
This technique and the coloration were inspired by an old tapestry. It was such a delight to paint, that I'm already looking for another project.
Although this is a larger project, I was so fascinated with the technique and the beautiful color mixes that I could hardly take a break from it. To add a little bit of whimsey inside the drawer was just a final happy touch!
