French Bridal Bombay

From Northern France, the Alsace Region, comes this stylized old tradition of flower and bird painting on coffers and boxes, which were usually used for love gifts.  Here I present my own interpretation of this style, using more jewel like colors and beautiful strokework techniques.  This design appears in Jo Sonja's book "Bridal Painting"
