We're excited to announce the return of in person seminars at our studio in Eureka, CA. We will be starting this year in June and continuing through October 2024. We look forward to spending this time with our painting friends.
Please Note: All five day seminars follow this format:
Two days instruction, one day off, two days instruction. During the day off the studio IS open and available to catch up or prepare for the next session.
Design & Color
June 3 - 7 (Monday - Friday)

Class Fee: $525.00
Class Fee Includes: All paints and mediums used during instruction.
We begin our seminars in 2024 with a Design and Color class. A unique experience during which we explore some of the many different aspects of creativity and the actual development of a design. As we have always done in the past, the piece or pieces are not included in the class fee and each artist is welcome to bring a piece or two of your own choosing. There will be exercises and times of sharing and encouragement that, hopefully, will stimulate your creative “juices”.
Hatter's Treats and Sweets

Combining new designs along with new adaptations from the Alice in Wonderland bombay box and tea set that I did years ago. You can keep the new patterns or change them for other adaptations on your cupboard if you'd like a more simple look.
This piece is designed to invite you to follow your heart with possibilities. Add an old watch? Careful, that space is not very big..
Fruit, Flowers and Flying Bugs

Old traditional techniques, combining strokes, stroke blending, glaze and decorative details with stylized flowers, fruits and bugs for rich, deep toned compositions on a metallic gold background... what fun!
Good study aides; hours of painting together and a technical video will be provided.
