In our back garden we have a very old crabapple and hawthorn tree, side by side. Beautiful in the spring and fall, they provide a treat for the birds. The painting is done on an antique lunch bucket. The idea will adapt easily to other wood or tin boxes, trunks, shaker boxes, etc.
