In Chaucer's Canterbury Tales he introduces us to a jaunty and wise little rooster named Chanticleer and his love, Partlet. If you have ever read this story you will realize why I named this pair for them. Three different values (dark, medium, and light) have been used as backgrounds so that you can see how we choose colors for the line work. On backgrounds of light values we outline mostly with dark colors, on medium value backgrounds we use both light and dark values. Again, contrast is the important consideration in making color choice.
