Valdres Rococo - JP3191

This study was inspired by the works of Peter Aadnes and a beautiful sled photographed in the Drammens Museum. Often called a "city painter," Peter Aadnes was a wealthy farmer who painted flowers and scrolls greatly influenced by the rococo style of the guild painters.
